cPanel has announced a critical authentication vulnerability affecting all currently supported versions of cPanel & WHM. Because this is an industry-wide security issue, immediate precautions are being taken to help protect customer environments while official patches are released, applied, and tested.

What’s Being Done

To reduce potential risk, access to the ports used for cPanel and WHM is being temporarily restricted on affected servers.

These restrictions will remain in place until:

  1. cPanel releases the required patches
  2. The patches are applied to affected systems
  3. The fixes are fully tested and confirmed to be working properly

This proactive step is intended to minimize exposure and protect hosted environments during the remediation process.

What This Means for Customers

While these temporary restrictions are in effect:

  • Websites, applications, databases, and email services will continue to function normally
  • Direct access to cPanel and WHM may be temporarily unavailable
  • AMP logins will remain available and unaffected

In other words, hosting services should continue running as expected, even if control panel access is limited for a short period.

Commitment to Security

Protecting customer accounts, infrastructure, and hosted services remains the highest priority. These temporary measures are being put in place out of caution and will be lifted as soon as the security update process is complete and verified.
